Well what can I say, to be honest I never ever thought when I started my book it would end up in a high street store but last week there it was sat proud as punch on the shelf of a main high street store, Waterstones! I started this book as a thankyou and a dedication to my dad for all he has taught me and done for me and that didn’t change however the more I talked about my idea the more ideas and feedback I got and 1 year from its release date here we are and now people are even asking for the next one! Back in August I was very kindly featured on the Adventurous Book Club spotlight moment, where people can discuss books they are reading and can recommend to others. Check out the clubs social media pages if you’re big into your books!

As some people reading this will already know, one thing im always cooking on is my Konro grill which was very kindly gifted to me by Chefs Locker which since gone on to their own shop called KAIZEN in Shrewsbury, Shropshire where they sell a huge assortment of Japanese food and cooking equipment along with the Konro Grills and my book! To top everything off, today I have been to visit the National Trust Belton Estate which is an absolutely fantastic country estate with house, deer gardens, woodland, play areas, walks, cafes and a stunningly well presented shop. The National Trust has lots of specific and important criteria a book must have before it is selected to be stocked in their shops for example, the sustainability, the quality, the ethos and the paper its printed on must meet the recycling standards. I’m am so proud to visit today and see Cooking Wild amongst other great titles and even got asked to sign some copies ideal for Christmas gifts. Shop
